Napoleon III Billiard Pocket

Napoleon III period bronze billiard pocket with the face of Bacchus, the god of wine, surrounded by grapes and grape leaves, c. 1860. Mounted on black Napoleon III base. Originally mounted on the side of a billiard table where the face would drop down to catch the billiard ball.
