Miniature Chiffonnier

Nineteenth century Charles X style miniature palisander chiffonnier. Called a meuble de maitrise, it was made by a cabinet maker's apprentice at the end of his apprenticeship to prove he had mastered his cabinet making skills. Five divided drawers. Lemon wood inlay. c. 1870.
